Fostering synergies to beat cancer: The impact of EU-funded projects

On World Cancer Day 2025, ECHoS will participate as moderator in the Panel 1 “Prevention, early detection & screening”, at the showcase event “Fostering synergies to beat cancer: The impact of EU-funded projects”, organized by HaDEA (European Health and Digital Executive Agency) on 4th of February 2025, in Brussels.
This will be an important occasion to mark the World Cancer Day and demonstrate the impact of various grants and tenders managed HaDEA in relation to the Europe’s Beating Cancer Plan and the Cancer Mission.
The event is structured around four main blocks as follows:
-Plenary discussion to address policies related to cancer designed by key Commission services and other relevant stakeholders.
-Panel 1 on prevention, early detection & screening.
-Panel 2 on diagnosis & treatment.
-Panel 3 on reducing inequalities and improving quality of life of cancer patients and survivors.
