The co-research method (also known as collaborative research, participatory action research, or peer research, depending on context) involves conducting research with, rather than on, the people affected by the topic being studied. It emphasizes shared ownership, mutual learning, and joint action.
Photovoice is a participatory (research) method where people use photography to document and reflect on their lived experiences. It is often referred to more broadly as participatory photography.
At its core, it means providing community members with cameras and support to capture and share their own perspectives — for awareness, dialogue, or change.
